Chilli Recipe
This hearty chilli recipe is loaded with beef, beans, tomatoes, and warm spices, creating a comforting and flavorful dish perfect for quick dinners, potlucks, or cozy nights in. It comes together easily and pairs wonderfully with cornbread, rice, or tortilla chips.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 ½ cups water (optional, for thinner consistency)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, or more to taste
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Place ground beef and chopped onion in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook 5–7 minutes until beef is browned and onion softens.
- Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, and stewed tomatoes with their juice.
- Add water if a thinner chili is desired. Season with chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with cornbread, shredded cheese, or your favorite toppings.
