Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 6 medium potatoes, scrubbed

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then stir in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Poke several holes into each potato using a fork.
  • Place each potato on a piece of foil and brush generously with the butter mixture.
  • Wrap the potatoes fully in foil and poke a few more holes through the foil.
  • Bake for about 1 hour, or until the potatoes are completely fork-tender.
