Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Lightly grease baking sheets or use silicone baking mats. Avoid parchment paper if using a cookie press.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and creamy.
