  • 1 (12-fluid-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather all ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Gradually add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough holds together.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to about ⅛-inch thickness.
