Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon prepared mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)

Directions

  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold, salted water.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until the eggs are hard-boiled.
  • Drain and immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, carefully peel the eggs and slice each one in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the yolks and place them in a small bowl.
  • Mash the yolks with vinegar, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Add a bit more mayonnaise if you prefer a softer filling.
