3½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
¾ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Dijon mustard
2 dashes hot sauce
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C). Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with foil.
  • Place the beef tenderloin on the prepared baking sheet. Rub the meat with softened butter.
  • Drizzle 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce over the tenderloin and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Tuck the thinner end underneath the tenderloin for even cooking.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  • Remove the beef tenderloin from the oven and loosely cover with foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • To make the Dijon cream sauce, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, and the remaining Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
  • Slice the beef tenderloin and serve with the Dijon sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
