Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 ½ cups uncooked white rice (or use leftover rice)
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 ½ cups cooked shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
Directions
- Boil water in a saucepan, add rice, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes until done. Let it cool completely.
- Heat a large pan or wok on medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil, then add onions and bean sprouts. Cook for about 3 minutes until slightly soft.
- Add cooked rice and shrimp to the pan. Stir and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Push everything to one side, pour in beaten eggs, and scramble them.
- Mix eggs with rice, then add green onions, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and sesame oil.
- Stir everything well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until fully combined and hot.
